This new round diamond cut with 161 facets was created in Antwerp. He worked for ten years to develop and refine the new size. It was analyzed by WTOCD in Antwerp, Belgium. The WTOCD is synonymous with: scientific and technical research center for diamonds. It was founded in 1977 to provide scientific and technological diamond industry in Belgium and is a subsidiary of the Antwerp World Diamond Center and the Hoge Raad Voor Diamant or HRD. It has 161 facets without the girdle. S is the WTOCD basis for comparison, a traditional round cut of 57 facets, ideal cut. Results WTOCD on Malja Munacra are surprising. Size offers a yield of 20% more weight compared to the ideal cut (triple EX) even on a similar carat rough diamonds. It also has a better performance of brilliance, brightness of the famous Hearts and Arrows.
